The participating airlines are Austral, Aerolíneas Argentinas (only for flights of the same company and not combined), LAPA, Lan Chile, Transbrasil Airlines, Pluna and Varig.

The pass can only be acquired by those who reside outside of South America and have a return ticket. Only 8 coupons are allowed and may not exceed 4 per country. Its validity is from 7 to 30 days and it is necessary to make the visit to at least two countries with a maximum of five. The flight route can not be modified and in each country only two stopovers can be made.

Another type of pass is the Visit South America Pass that is also acquired outside of South America. It allows access to 36 cities from different countries: Bolivia, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Paraguay, Venezuela and Uruguay. The airlines are Aer Lingus (EI), Cathay Pacific, American Airlines (AA), Finnair (AY), British Airways (BA), Iberia (IB), LAN-Chile (LA) and Qantas (QF). There are no maximum limits but a minimum of three flights is required.

The rates vary according to the area of ​​flight and its duration is 60 days. There is a discount of 33% for children under 12 years, while babies up to 2 years, only pay 10% of the rate for adults. Any information can be requested from any of the participating airlines.
